STUCK WITH YOU, by Trish Jensen

**** funny book!  I enjoyed it, although it is a crazy story... 


The heroine, Paige Hart,   is a sharp and hardworking lawyer.  She is generous,  as she works ad-honorem for her family but due to a painfull past story, she hates divorce lawyers.  Ross is a divorce lawyer, he is smart and very generous too, but she doesn't know it.


This is a comedy, Paige and Ross are quarantine together due to the love virus and as there is not another free room in the whole hospital, they have to live together for 14 days, fighting their mutual attraction.

CATCH ME, by Lisa Gardner

***** Excellent thriller!  Great job of Lisa Gardner!  This book will be released on February 2012


This is no romantic story, it is a thriller that will keep you reading and trying to guess it until the very end.


Charlene Rosalyn Carter Grant has only four days to live.  Her two BFF's were killed up close and personal on the 21st of January and she has only four days left to find her murderer.  Charly asked the help of D.D Warren and she will do her best, while trying to solve her other cases.

**** I enjoyed it very much!
Mal is NSA operative and was sent undercover to find a link between the De Marcos and the smuglers who killed his partner, so he dressed as a geek and infiltrate their company.  He was used to being a chamaleon. All the evidence points to Janey De Marco, and he can't keep a thought in his head when she is near... Janey has a hunch he is hidding something. Both of them are attracted to each other and they try their best to seduce the other while learning some secrets...


Lovely characters, sensual scenes and a bit of action too.  I can't wait to read the story of Nic and Annie, another sensual love story for sure!

SECRETS OF AN ACCIDENTAL DUCHESS, by Jennifer Haymore

*** I enjoyed this historical romance.  Olivia Donovan is fragile and suffers from frequent fevers of malaria, since she was a little girl.  She lived most of her life in America.  Max sees her at a party and can't keep his eyes away.  And that is when the marquis of Fenwicke strikes a wager with him: seduce Olivia or lost a considerable amount of money.  Max never guessed he was going to fall in love with her or that the marquis would be a dangerous enemy that could destroyed them both. 

TOUCH ME, by Callie Croix

*** It's a short story, very erotic....but not disgusting.  She is recently divorced and moved into his home while he is away, he returns from the war and finds her there...they were atracted to each other for years...

DON'T MESS WITH TEXAS, by Christie Craig

***** Funny Romantic and Sexy suspense!
Fast moving, exciting.  It's delicious!


Don't mess with Texas is the name of the Investigation Agency of tree ex cops and friends: Dallas, Austin and Tyler.  Nikki finds her ex husband dead in her car's trunk and she meets Dallas a moment later barfing on him twice.  It's lust at first sight for the both of them.  Nikki finds him cupcake good. He finds her hard to resist.  There is a parallel love story, the one of Dallas brother and investigator of Nikki's husband murder and his soon to be ex wife.


You will love this book!  

White Dusk, by Susan Edwards

****  Although its not one of my favorites, I liked it.   I was unconfortable with all those names like: Calf Boy, Small bird, Swift Foot, Many Horns, etc... but the story is nice.


It takes place in Dakota Territory in 1810 it's a sequel of White Dawn, so I suggest you read that one first, because Emily is Swift Foot's first love, and this book starts when he has to marry Small Bird. He has to restore the famly's honor and in order to do that he has to marry not for love, but as a duty, he fell in love with a white woman, just like his father that brought death and pain to the tribe.  But he will soon fall for his wife...

WHITE DAWN, by Susan Edwards

****  I enjoyed it!
This story takes place in Missouri River in 1810.  Emily is abandoned by her stepfather and her mother in  the wilds of the West.  She is only 16 years old, and she witnessed the death of her parents. She is rescued by Swift Foot, an indian who dremed of her and went in her search.  but that love is not to be...He lefts her near the cottage of a good and compasionate man:  John Cartier and they have to find a way to be happy together...

THE DEVIL AND MS. MOODY by Suzanne Forster.

****  I liked it.  This story is very sexy.


Edwina Moody lives with her mother and little sister and has to take care of the mortage and all the bills, ever since her father left them for Bora Bora and his mistress.  She works as an investigator, and now she has to find the heir of a vast fortune.  In order to do so, she has to contact a bunch of bikers at Blackie's Bar.  The gang seemed dangerous and she was lucky to be saved by Diablo, who strikes a bargain with her...

ALL I WANT IS YOU, by Sherrill Bodine

*****  Excellent!  I couldn't put it down!


Venus Smith owns with her sisters Athena and Diana: Pandora Box, a vintage boutique in Chicago.  They usually go to look for treasures in closets and attics of chicago's socialites.  So, when Bridget asked her to go and clean her closet, she accepeted at once.  Not only because of the treasures she might find, but also because she wanted to have a word with Connor, and find out why he fired her father.  


Connor Clayworth O'Flynn is the heir of the sexy department store and has a crush on her since childhood.  But she could not forgive him for what he did to her father.  Together they will find the truth and, naturally, fall in love!


You will certainly be touched by Connor's love for Venus, and her devotion later.  This book is lovely, you will surelly enjoy it.

HOW TO DANCE WITH A DUKE, Manda Collins

**** I loved it!  I really love historicals, so this one was very enjoyable.


Miss Cecily Hurston was battering her parasol against the footman of Number 13 Bruton St. when she met the Duke of Winterson, Lucas Dalton.  He is a decorated war hero, and is investigating the disappearence of his brother William Dalton, former Lord Hurston's personal secretary.  She is investigating the very same thing, so the join forces and fell in love, as it should be!


Lovely story! If you enjoy historical romances, you will love this one.

DEEP DISCLOSURE by Dee Davis

**** It's a very entertaining romantic suspense, I enjoyed it.  It delivers emotion, suspense and a good reading.


Lexie lost her her family, when a bomb took her parents and  brother.  She changed her identity and escaped thanks to a family friend who saved her.  Tucker Flyhnn is an A-Tac agent and returned to the town where he grew up and bored to death.  but everything changes when, while sitting in a coffee shop he sees Alexis meeting the man that saved her when she was a teenager, and after she leaves the coffeeshop blows up killing George and another man who was sitting nearby.  


Tons of suspense and many explosions through the book, where nearly everybody seems determined to kill Alexis.

THE LADY'S SECRET, by Johanna Chambers

*****  I loved this one!  I am a fan of historical romances, so for me it was delicious.  Georgy (Georgiana) is the daughter of an actress and an earl.  She always thought, she and her twin were illegitimate.  But then they found out that their parents were married, and Harry was the rightful earl of Dunsmore.  But they have to prove it, and so Harry goes looking for the chapel were their parents were married and Georgy masquerades as a male valet for Lord Nathaniel Harland.  Nathan is appalled when he realizes he is physically attracted to his male valet! until he finds out the truth....


This book was lovely, I enjoyed it very much.

CALLER ID, by Rachelle Christensen

*** TEENS THRILLER.  If you are an adult, you will find this book boring and too slow.  But I think you will enjoy it if you are a teenager.   


Courtney Beckham is 23 years old, she is fun, very smart and beautiful.  She studies and work ten hours a week for dad.  She is the only daughter of Eric and Chloe.  Courtney usually runs a lot, in the Utah mountains but never alone, since the marathon runner who was murdered there last year.  but this weekend her parents are travelling together, and Courtney decides to go for a ride with Tica and her dog. but she saw too much in the woods behind her house and  she is kidnapped...

HIDE FROM EVIL, by Jami Alden

***** GREAT!
Don't start reading this book by the end of the day or you will find yourself reading through the night! I did not read the first book, but this one is brilliant!

During her investigation, Jimmy Caparulo, who was going to meet with her in order to give her important information on the case, ended dead. HEAD OVER HEELS by Jill Shalvis

*****  I loved this book.  I never read the previous ones, but everybody says they are great too.  This is the story of Chloe Traeger, half sister of Maddie and Tara, all owners of the B&B of Lucky Harbor.  Sawyer Thompson is their sherif.  He is been trying to make the people of Lucky Harbor forget his wild days, and that is why he is avoiding Chole, who usually goes against the law, entering private property to save dogs for example.  But they have it hard, they fall head over heels... You will enjoy it!

Redwood Bend by Robyn Carr

***  This is another one of Virgin River series.  But it's not as good as the other ones. I love this series, I love all the characters of Virgin river, they are wonderfull people, always eager to help, but I sincerelly prefered other couples such as luke and shellby, or cameron and abby...
Katie Malone is nice, she is  a widow with twins, and she is travelling to virgin river to meet her brother, when she meets ex famous actor Dylan.   He has issues... she wants a man and a family... they end up together, as usual.

Ripe for Scandal, by Isobel Carr

*** It's fine, but I didn't fall for it.  By the middle of the book I found it was a little bit boring and had to made an effort to finish it.  The characters are lovable, Beau and Gareth are both endearing, but something is missing.  

Beau is Gareth's best friend little sister, they always clash when they are together, but it seems they cannot be apart either.  He is mad about her, but she is a heiress and she is only the second son of an earl.  She is abducted and Gareth saves her.... 

One Perfect Night by Rachael Johns

**** Perfect for the Holidays! I became completely immersed in this book, it is a light story, at christmas.  Penelope (Peppa) Grant is arriving late at the company's christmas party when she accidentally damages Cameron Mc Cormac's expensive car.  She is dressed as a fairy, and he is enthralled as soon as he sees her enter the room.  So, when she explaines the damage to his car, he proposes to forgive it, if she agrees to be his date for the family party.  The atraction is instantaneous.   He is a man tormented by his past, and doesn't want a serious relationship, she wants love and lots of children.  You will enjoy this book, full of wit, sexy scenes and lovable characters.

EDGE OF MIDNIGHT by Leslie Tentler

***** Excellent romantic suspense! This book is fast paced and has a compelling plot I guarantee it will hook you and you won't be able to put it down until the end. This is my first Leslie Tentler, but I am going to read the rest of the "midnights" (The Chasing Evil trilogy) as soon as possible. It will be released in January 2012.

Georgia is a widow and orphan who meets this lord who looses his memory inmediately after they meet, and thinks he is Robinson Crusoe. He learns how to live on Orange Street and falls in love...

THE BASTARD by Brenda Novak

This book was really good, the characters leapt out off the page and the plot was very interesting and believable. I love historical romances, so for me, it's a keeper.

Jeannette Boucher is a french lady who escaped France with her family during the revolution and executions in the guillotine. She is to married an english lord, older than her father to save them all from poverty. But on her wedding night she discovers the plans of her husband to conceive a heir. THE LADY'S TUTOR - Robin Schone

***** This is an erotic romance, if you like this kind of books, you will love this one! it's worth every dollar!! EXCELLENT! You won't be able to put it down! It is my first Robin Schone book, but I am definetely going to read another one.
