DEEP DISCLOSURE by Dee Davis

**** It's a very entertaining romantic suspense, I enjoyed it.  It delivers emotion, suspense and a good reading.


Lexie lost her her family, when a bomb took her parents and  brother.  She changed her identity and escaped thanks to a family friend who saved her.  Tucker Flyhnn is an A-Tac agent and returned to the town where he grew up and bored to death.  but everything changes when, while sitting in a coffee shop he sees Alexis meeting the man that saved her when she was a teenager, and after she leaves the coffeeshop blows up killing George and another man who was sitting nearby.  


Tons of suspense and many explosions through the book, where nearly everybody seems determined to kill Alexis.

THE LADY'S SECRET, by Johanna Chambers

*****  I loved this one!  I am a fan of historical romances, so for me it was delicious.  Georgy (Georgiana) is the daughter of an actress and an earl.  She always thought, she and her twin were illegitimate.  But then they found out that their parents were married, and Harry was the rightful earl of Dunsmore.  But they have to prove it, and so Harry goes looking for the chapel were their parents were married and Georgy masquerades as a male valet for Lord Nathaniel Harland.  Nathan is appalled when he realizes he is physically attracted to his male valet! until he finds out the truth....


This book was lovely, I enjoyed it very much.

CALLER ID, by Rachelle Christensen

*** TEENS THRILLER.  If you are an adult, you will find this book boring and too slow.  But I think you will enjoy it if you are a teenager.   


Courtney Beckham is 23 years old, she is fun, very smart and beautiful.  She studies and work ten hours a week for dad.  She is the only daughter of Eric and Chloe.  Courtney usually runs a lot, in the Utah mountains but never alone, since the marathon runner who was murdered there last year.  but this weekend her parents are travelling together, and Courtney decides to go for a ride with Tica and her dog. but she saw too much in the woods behind her house and  she is kidnapped...

HIDE FROM EVIL, by Jami Alden

***** GREAT!
Don't start reading this book by the end of the day or you will find yourself reading through the night! I did not read the first book, but this one is brilliant!

Krista Slater, deputy prosecuting attorney, is trying to find out if Brewster was the only one involved in the murders and prostitution ring that framed Sean and sent him to jail. During her investigation, Jimmy Caparulo, who was going to meet with her in order to give her important information on the case, ended dead. That prompted her to go and find Sean, who was living in their family's hunting cabin outside the town of Winton, after three years in jail. Sean blames Krista for his imprisonment but cannot deny his body's reaction to her. He found peace in Winton and doesn't want to listen to her. But somebody tries to kill them, and while running away from danger they have to face their wild sexual attraction while finding a solution to their problem.

HEAD OVER HEELS by Jill Shalvis

*****  I loved this book.  I never read the previous ones, but everybody says they are great too.  This is the story of Chloe Traeger, half sister of Maddie and Tara, all owners of the B&B of Lucky Harbor.  Sawyer Thompson is their sherif.  He is been trying to make the people of Lucky Harbor forget his wild days, and that is why he is avoiding Chole, who usually goes against the law, entering private property to save dogs for example.  But they have it hard, they fall head over heels... You will enjoy it!

Redwood Bend by Robyn Carr

***  This is another one of Virgin River series.  But it's not as good as the other ones. I love this series, I love all the characters of Virgin river, they are wonderfull people, always eager to help, but I sincerelly prefered other couples such as luke and shellby, or cameron and abby...
Katie Malone is nice, she is  a widow with twins, and she is travelling to virgin river to meet her brother, when she meets ex famous actor Dylan.   He has issues... she wants a man and a family... they end up together, as usual.

Ripe for Scandal, by Isobel Carr

*** It's fine, but I didn't fall for it.  By the middle of the book I found it was a little bit boring and had to made an effort to finish it.  The characters are lovable, Beau and Gareth are both endearing, but something is missing.  

Beau is Gareth's best friend little sister, they always clash when they are together, but it seems they cannot be apart either.  He is mad about her, but she is a heiress and she is only the second son of an earl.  She is abducted and Gareth saves her....
